Enter the characters you see below Sorry, we just need to make sure you’re not a robot. The rumours are flying in thick and fast at the moment, but this one has certainly grabbed our attention. If the rumblings are to be believed, we could soon see the hugely popular Fortnite on Nintendo Switch, with a reveal expected to be shown at the Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2018 presentation in June. Perhaps the most interesting part of this ‘leak’, however, is the suggestion that Fortnite’s co-op story mode ‘Save The World’ will also how Much Money Did I Spend On Fortnite present with some Switch-exclusive features. The leak also says that “exclusive Nintendo IP related content is also being worked on exclusively for Save The World”.
Would you like this rumour to be true, though? Would you be up for some Battle Royale on the TV, before playing some of the co-op story mode on the go? Let us know your thoughts below. Ryan’s that annoying kind of guy in multiplayer games – you know the one, the kind of person that throws a temper tantrum if he can’t be Yoshi in Mario Kart or gets stuck with the controller with the dodgy button. Seeing the installation base of the Switch grow so quickly, it would be surprising if not a single big Battle Royale game came on the Switch. All I want is the save the world mode, so if it comes I’ll be so freaking happy. It better have Mario customes or I am not playing. Uhhh a few red flags here. First off, Save the World requires an online connection, last I checked.
2nd, I’m not sure how exclusive that Nintendo content could be, if this version allows cross saves and cross purchases as well. Unless other platforms can see the content, but just not use it. Xbox got some exclusive heroes, but they were just recolors of preexisting heroes with switched up abilities and an XBOX color scheme. EDIT: I could see some Battle Royale cosmetics being obtainable only on the Switch version, but available to use on other platforms via linked Epic accounts. I think a Sony-exclusive skin worked that way. I didn’t understand the hype in this game Until I played it!
It is very fun, and I would love for it to come to the Switch. If this is true, the port will probably happen in September to showcase the online service. I have the same thought about Smash Bros. Just a rumor, so nothing for me to get too excited about but if this turns out to be true, throw in motion aiming and I’m in. I expect it to not be free to play if true.

There seems to be something about bringing free to play games to Nintendo. Either Nintendo doesn’t like it or the companies don’t want to share their microtransaction pie with them. Especially as they tend to be restricted in Japan. It may be why Hearthstone is not coming to Switch. Hope this is true purely because it would be great for the growth of the switch. Not a game I’m interested in but if it boosts Switch sales I’m all for it. I’ve tried playing this on my mobile and gave up, it needs controllers to be fully enjoyed.
I generally don’t gravitate towards these types of games but sometimes I give them a shot. I bet it wouldn’t hold me too long though, Rocket League hasn’t been touched in months and I feel like this might end up the same too. Either way, it would be a HUGE get for the Switch so bring it on, and if the price is decent I’d be down to give it a shot! Just remember this is the company that sues children rather than patching exploits. If it comes out on Switch, I will finally give it a chance.
In fact, I’m not even sure if he was really sued. Epic’s only option was to drop it, or to take it to court. They might not have been aware of his age either. All these rumors are all well and good but I’d like to see some actual announcements sometime soon. Would be neat if they included gyro-controls. Anyone can make up a rumor like this if the reality seems plausible.
I will reserve my hype for when I see it in action. Crazy Justice might just be obsolete before it hits the shelves. I hope so, I have an absolute blast in this game on PS4, but to be able to play it during my lunch break at work would be cool. The DMCA thing is telling to me. Youtube is way overzealous with copyright claims.
If youtube isn’t honoring then that’s awful flimsy. You pile on top of that the fact that they could instantly invalidate all his videos by simply fixing the exploits. I’m a programmer, I work on an online game, and I deal with cheaters all the time. Yeah they’re annoying, but I fix the bugs, maybe ban them if it’s severe enough. Never once have I thought of suing them. If they actually rule in Epic’s favor that doesn’t lead anywhere good. For that matter just the existence of the lawsuit doesn’t lead anywhere good.
